Day 35 - Turkey (Cappadocia)

Straight off one bus and onto another...the tour bus and we had 6 hours of sightseeing in front of us. We hadn't had the chance to go to our hotel and we stunk! It was a long day but the landscape is just amazing and the views were well worth it. All the rocks have been formed overtime through erosion.

We also visited the largest open air museum in Goreme. There are a number of churches and the artwork inside can still be seen. The Underground City was also amazing. There are 8 levels but you can only visit to level 4. It was icey cold inside and so interesting to explore this 'mini city' which was developed thousands of years ago.
